Shrewd and knowledgeable, having common sense and good judgement…is this me? Astute, sharp-witted, intelligent, canny and perceptive, well that’s a long list of very grown up things to be…erm, hang on a minute I am a grown up!
So why be savvy? Why be anything really, they are all just labels that either we choose or other people choose for us to wear or bear. But there is something in the air, and not just humidity and high pollen counts (achew) but a feeling that we do have to be savvy about where we shop, what we buy, which school to send our children to and what brand of washing liquid is the most cost effective/most washes/ smells the best/ looks pretty and so on and so forth. There is a lot of pressure on all of us right now to be savvy, so when things come along encouraging savviness (not sure if that’s even a word) it makes our lives loads easier. Take the recommendations on social media, I have seen many posts asking complete strangers for their opinions on schools/plumbers/cleaners/pubs/places to eat and by the huge replies and responses I have seen most posts get, we are a nation that does genuinely like to share our experiences. I used the facility myself last week, ‘looking for a pub/café where I can run more preloved clothing events’ and got some recommendations (still looking btw) hint, hint.
So, this is all about stuff we either want to do, or for other people’s benefits (our kids/parents/partner/animals/house/car) and less frequently for our own benefit. However, as a growing savvy nation, can I ask why we don’t do this for our own careers, home life or choices? When I say careers, I mean ‘stuff we do day to day’ as this could cover studying, volunteering, work experience and things we do for ourselves.
I would always encourage others to take some time out to reflect and you don’t need to do this on your own either, be savvy and get advice. So, if you are feeling weighed down and want some great ideas on what may be bothering you and identify what you LOVE doing (and finding ways to do more of that) and being clear on what you LOATHE doing (and finding ways to minimise these) resulting in freeing up new energy, get in touch and take advantage of a free half hour telephone consultation

De-cluttering and living life without clutter is keeping me on my toes, I will still challenge anyone who says that they can do their own wardrobe and de-clutter, tidy, throw away/charity or sell and say if you still haven’t done so in 6 months, come and see me!!
It is so much better and more productive having someone there, who can be non-judgemental, give colour and style advice, list items needed to make a capsule wardrobe, storage solutions and even sell your stuff and make money back for you. So if you are fed up with your wardrobe and want to be liberated, call me for a free half hour telephone consultation..yes it’s free 01737 245 714/07904 332 339
As Studio 36 is resembling more of a shopping centre, I thought it would be a great idea to combine the Colour consultation with an extra half hour time to shop, thrown in for good measure, let me know when you book and I will block off 'shopping' time for you, how very civilised! If you only want a shop, call me and come on down to Studio 36 or book in for a shopping buddy session either in Crawley, Bluewater or Guildford - the choice is yours!
